About PingParrot

Built by people who depend on it — for teams who can't afford to miss a critical alert.

Our Story

PingParrot was built out of necessity — not to add yet another tool to an already crowded market, but to solve a problem that existing platforms have consistently failed to address: reliable, feature-rich alerting that doesn't require a manual to configure.

With over 20 years of hands-on experience across DevOps, networking, system administration, enterprise architecture, and technical support for organisations of all sizes, we know what teams actually need when something goes wrong at 3 AM. We've been building for the web since its earliest days, and that depth of experience shapes every decision behind PingParrot.

Why We Built This

We tried the major platforms. They're powerful — but they're also time-consuming to configure, unnecessarily complex, and often far more than what most teams actually need. Who has time for that?

PingParrot was designed from the ground up to be feature-rich, secure, scalable, and forward-thinking — without the friction that makes other tools feel like a second job. We wanted something that works for us, for the teams we collaborate with, and for anyone else who wants a smarter, simpler way to stay on top of critical alerts.

Who We Serve

PingParrot is purpose-built for teams where a missed alert has real consequences. Our founder currently serves as an Enterprise Analyst supporting two rural hospitals — environments where 24/7 uptime and rapid response are non-negotiable. That lived experience is reflected in every feature we build and every decision we make.

Infrastructure & Reliability

Our servers are hosted across Canada and the United States, backed by 99.9% uptime guarantees. We take reliability seriously because we depend on it ourselves.

Still Growing

PingParrot is currently in public Beta and we're actively building, listening, and improving. If something's missing or not working the way you expect, we want to know. We're committed to supporting you every step of the way, and our documentation covers everything from initial setup through to advanced integrations and on-call scheduling.

We know there are a lot of products out there, and we don't take your trust lightly. Thank you for trying PingParrot — we genuinely hope it makes your team's life easier.
